Well Hello 2022

This New Years eve felt very different from the last; more chaos, more hope, more confusion, more acceptance. As we stand at the beginning of a new adventure I know we are all anxiously awaiting what comes next, and for all of my fellow control freaks out there this is no easy task.

Many are calling this upcoming wedding season “The Wedding Boom”, if all goes to plan 2022 is set to have more weddings than any year in the past 30+ years, yet here we are still facing this ever changing pandemic, hoping for the best but planning for the worst. Plus, now a new wave of couples have gotten engaged over the Holiday Season and they too are beginning to plan their 2022 & 2023 Weddings. On top of all that, other couples who have either been patiently waiting for change or have had to postpone their already planned weddings also have their new date set in the next 2 years, this is fine…everything is fine.

Most vendors have spent the past few weeks enjoying some well deserved rest, but as we are all expecting, the next 2 months are probably going to get crazy. For us here at Simcoe Wedding Pages, we’re going to continue doing what we do best, connecting couples to Venues and Vendors that will make their dream wedding a reality, sharing Wedding Stories and working for our vendors.

My hopes for this year are that every couples wedding is on schedule and perfectly breathtaking and that every vendor is completely booked and has their most beautiful and profitable year yet!

Thank you for joining us on this journey and don’t forget, “Your Destination Wedding is closer than you think”.

Cheers,

Kayla Lopez
