Newly Engaged, Book your Vendors

Booking Vendors has been a hot topic among Industry professionals recently because of the unprecedented circumstances that so many of us are finding ourselves in this year. Traditionally, January-March is a popular time for engaged couples to start booking vendors and even with the current pandemic this has, for the most part remained true.

There are thousands of blogs and articles from years passed that detail the ideal booking times for Venues and Vendors, which was great advice back then but now we find ourselves in a very different situation.

There have been countless couples whose Weddings were scheduled in 2020 and even 2021 that have had to postpone until later this year and into 2022. These couples generally get first choice of Wedding dates because they already have contracts with their venue and the majority of their vendors. This means that newly engaged couples need to act fast if they are planning to celebrate their Wedding anytime in the next 2-3 years.

Here are a few tips to get you started:

  • Book your Planner & Coordinator. Planning a Wedding can be very exciting but also stressful, especially during a pandemic. It’s a great idea to hire a professional that you trust that will help you navigate through the process.
  • Then start by choosing your venue and any vendors that have to be present during your ceremony and reception such as the; caterer, D.J, Officiant, etc.,
  • Make a list of all of your top choices for your remaining vendors and contact them as soon as you can to get the ball rolling on scheduling consultations.
